The R44’s distinctive aerodynamic design allows a high cruise speed up to 210kph. The cabin offers comfortable “two plus two” seating with no bulkhead or post between front and rear seats, assuring exceptional visibility and panoramic view for all passengers. The Raven II and Clipper II are top-of-their-range, fuel injected models which produce substantially more power and gives the R44II greater altitude performance, more payload, and increased speed than its predecessors. The R44II is now a popular choice world wide as a light utility helicopter for Newscopters, Police Helicopters, Aerial Surveillance and other areas where performance, reliability and exceptional visibility are paramount making them an excellent choice for spotting/surveillance and light utility type operations. Both machines are equipped with air conditioning providing excellent passenger comfort no matter what the conditions. The Clipper II model is equipped with emergency pop out floats, enabling us to carry out over water charter operations with the highest degree of passenger safety. Our Raven II model can also be fitted with optional cargo pods increasing baggage capacity by an additional 550L.
