I have put images on film for as long as I can remember. My grandfather was a photographer and for me, photography has been a passion for more than 25 years. Anyone can take pictures, cameras are just a tool, like the pencil for a writer, it's the vision, the imagination and the carefully constructed image created by a professional photographer that increases in value over time, and for me there is no material possession I cherish more than images of my family. I am an award winning photographer and cinematographer who continually works to advance my artistic talent through participation in professional photographer associations, educational classes and webinars. I am a member of the Professional Photographers of America and the National Association of Photoshop Professionals. These two organizations allow me to continually advance my education and stay on top of the ever changing digital photographic arena. I Owned Dave Tally Studio Inc. in Dallas TX. for over ten years shooting food , fashion and table top before moving into cinema shooting commercials & features. I returned to my grass roots, N. Carolina to complete the circle and return to my passion, stills.
