Andrea Hurley & Jacob Fergus were both formally trained in photographic arts at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Ontario. Both wish to further their craft by pushing the limits of photography as an art form, as a mass media communication tool and as a means of personal expression. They have fresh, new ideas and believe in trying new things as a way to see how far you can go and in turn achieving the best results possible. They may be new and fresh but they never forget where photography came from so quite often they choose to integrate new digital technology with time proven methods of creating great images - it would not be out of the ordinary to see them lugging a 4x5 large format camera or a Mamiya RB 67 to remote locations or even setting them up in the studio - BIGGER IS ALWAYS BETTER! With bases in Ottawa and St. John's they pursue their interests in commercial photography, weddings and portraiture. Working together adds new thoughts and ideas to the mix and ignites
