Ken Sklute is the President of Contemporary Images LTD., a portrait and wedding studio in Phoenix, Arizona. Before relocating to Arizona, Ken worked in the Metropolitan New York area for more than 22 years. This year marks his 27th year capturing weddings and portraits. Known for his contemporary style, Ken was selected to illustrate the widely recognized book, Professional Techniques for the Wedding Photographer, published by Amphoto of New York in 1986. In 1999, Ken was contracted to rewrite the book which is now available. Ken holds both the Master and Craftsman degrees from the Professional Photographers Association of America, and has received many Loan Collection and Kodak Gallery Awards. While in New York, he achieved the title of Wedding Photographer of the Year a staggering 13 out of the 15 years he competed. He has already attained the same title in Arizona the past five years. In addition his wedding albums have captured Album of the Year the last four years as well.
