I have had a passion for photography since I was a small child with my parent's 35mm consumer camera. When I was a teenager, I had the rare opportunity to become an apprentice of one of the Upstate's premier photographers. He taught me the difference between a snapshot and a work of art. Though I have acquired a lot of sophisticated gear since then, I haven't forgotten what I learned as a kid with that 35mm camera. Over the years, I have learned that good photography requires more than just the technical knowledge of shutter speeds, aperture values and ISO settings. Good photography calls for a person that possesses a creative eye for detail and an understanding that photography is simply painting with light. These are the concepts that I base my work on. Lastly, I would like to share my belief in honor and integrity. This is simply a person always doing what is right and most of all, doing what they say they are going to do. For me, that means charging the price that was agreed to and living up to expectation that I set for my customers. Micah 6:8 - He has showed you oh man what is good.
