Jeff and Dodie Jodice advise couples to "personally visit" three studios for comparisons before deciding on a wedding photographer. They are confident that "people will see the difference" in images. For example, Jeff always uses at least two, often three, lights for wedding shots - one on the camera, one keylight and one back-light (except, of course, when no flash is permitted in the church or temple). He uses a Mamiya 645 for 90 percent of all his photography and a Metz flash and two Sunpaks 120J. In the studio, he uses the Ultra series.
Film choices are Kodak TRN and VPS for the studio, Kodak PMC for weddings, and, with the increasing trend toward black-and-white for portraiture, 1-Max and Agfa APX25.
All clients portraiture and wedding know exactly what they are getting and what they are paying which eliminates misunderstandings and later indecsiveness. They can take the price lists and discuss in private what they want to have. |
