" William L. Duncan holds both the prestigious PP of a Masters of Photography and Photographic Craftsman degrees along with Wedding and Portrait Photographers International (W.P.P.I.) master of Photography degrees (all five levels). Bill is one of the selected few to hold these multiple credentials. Bill is also continually listed in "Who's Who in the West" and "Who's Who in America. Bill is a lifelong member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International. This new credential brings the total to five international photographic degrees of ability. He has operated his personal and custom studio for over 35 years in Salt Lake City, and only recently partially retired."

He has been published in the PP of A and the WPPI '93, '95, '96, petal Wedding Albums and PP of A Loan Collection books. He has written numerous articles and other publications. His awards list dates back to the early 1970's. He holds 300+ awards from the W.P.P.I. association. Multiple Kodak and Fuji awards are to his achievement credit as well."
"Originally trained in graphic design and commercial painting, he has been a professional photographer for more than 35 years. He has vast experience in all darkroom technical work (black and white and full color printing including the technical side of the RA4, E6, B&W automated and custom printing along with traditional methods of retouching including the technical side of traditional negative retouching. He is very capable with the Macintosh computer, working with not only PageMaker, Freehand, Quark and Illustrator, but also the Photoshop program. Bill has taught these programs on the college level.. He has taught his "Artistry in the Language of Lights" seminars in many areas of the U.S. and has written numerous articles on his creative side and technical side of photography. Bill has also helped other photographers and editors of photography magazines and books illustrate and write books on the subject of professional photography. Bill also taught at and was responsible for the Utah State Fair Photographic exhibit for almost 10 years.
