Black Tie Photography was founded in early 2007 by Luke Babcock and Robert Metzel II. After spending many years working for other studios, they decided it was time they started working for themselves. This allowed the creative juices to flow. Giving them the ability to shoot their own styles, and not those of the studios that employed them. While we technically don't have a roof and 4 walls to call a "studio", we implore a much larger backdrop.... Mother Earth. Now, having a nice fancy studio with tons of things might be nice for some, but we feel it only limits us. We find the beauty in our surroundings and use that to help tell the story, your story. Whether it be a great scenic background or just your living room couch, regardless of the location, we shall find it's sweet spot. We strive to think outside the box, and to challenge the industry standards. Always raising the bar on ourselves, and our work. We do this because we love it. Everyone has a story to tell, and we would love to tell yours........
